Zeolite

Healing powers and therapeutic virtues of a fascinating mineral

From the core of the Earth, when ash and lava met seawater, an astonishing mineral was born. Ancient peoples knew of the many benefits of this natural volcanic substance that they used as a powerful detoxifier.

Today, our fast-paced lifestyle brings an array of factors that we all face daily and that negatively affect our bodies and wellbeing: stress, lack of nutritional value in our food, exposure to chemical substances, pollution, and overuse of prescribed and over the counter drugs. It is therefore not surprising that most people's immune system doesn't function as optimally as it should.

As we are currently facing a global pandemic of the coronavirus, it is imperative to look after your immune system and keep healthy and strong. I recently came across Zeolite through friends who found it to be very beneficial to their health. I decided to research about the product and feel compelled to share with you the outstanding benefits of Zeolite highlighted by scientific research. These include, amongst many others: immune support, PH balancing, antiviral properties and prevention of certain diseases.

All properties and therapeutical virtues mentioned below are based on those studies.

Zeolite and the detoxification process

The rock mineral Zeolite is negatively charged by nature, which means that it works like a magnet to attract positively charged toxins, free radicals and heavy metals from the body.

We are all exposed to toxins every single day through food, air, and water. These harmful materials are not used by the body and sit in our cells, disrupting functions and breaking down molecules. Eventually, these toxins cause unexplained sickness and symptoms. Zeolite's porous structure traps heavy metals and toxins and carries them out safely and gently. By removing the accumulated toxins, Zeolite may help alkalise and rebalance the internal PH which is essential for a healthy body.

This process of detoxification dramatically improves the immune response and has a considerable impact on the overall health and wellbeing. Therefore, it is no wonder that world-renowned scientists have studied the efficiency of Zeolite in conjunction with treatments for many serious illnesses.

What the studies have shown

Studies suggest that, because of its ability to detoxify the body, Zeolite may significantly strengthen the immune system and prevent against many severe conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, anaemia, diabetes, heart's disease, certain types of cancer, viruses and allergies.

Pioneer German researcher Professor Karl Hecht explains that the elimination of toxins and the antioxidant power of the mineral protect the cells from free radicals which prevent premature ageing.

At the Croatian Institute R. Boskovic in Zagreb, Prof. Kresimir Pavelic and his team led intensive research on the mechanisms of the anti-cancer action of Zeolite. Eminent US scientist Dr Harvey Kaufman contributed to this research and patented a liquid Zeolite which is used in the United-States as adjuvant therapy for numerous chronic and severe illnesses. According to this research, activated Zeolite would have a positive effect on cancer, some infectious and autoimmune diseases, Crohn's disease and psoriasis because it is strengthening the immune response of the patients.

Doctors at the R. Boskovic Institute also studied the antiviral properties of Zeolite. They observed that the mineral could block virus replication and stop the development of many viral infections. Other studies show that Zeolite was effective in the treatment of colds, flu, ticks, hepatitis C, rheumatoid arthritis and some types of multiple sclerosis.

Studies conducted by the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Biotechnologies at the University of Brescia in Italy suggest that Zeolite could be efficient in the field of neurodegenerative diseases.

Zeolite is also said to help with osteoporosis, hormone imbalances and some gynaecological issues. Not only that, but this impressive rock mineral may also increase your energy and vitality, concentration and mental clarity. As well as improving your mood, Zeolite would have therapeutic effects on neurosis, insomnia and depression.

Safety and useful information

The best and only form of Zeolite that is recommended for human consumption for detox and prevention is Zeolite Clinoptilolite. It is essential to use natural and purified Zeolite. I use Zeolite from the Clay Cure (an ethical Devon-based company) which is of the highest quality and originates from the Carpathian Mountains in Romania (photo below). It comes in micronised powder form, which is the form shown effective in scientific studies.

The US Food and Drug Administration classifies Zeolite in the GRAS group (generally recognised as safe and efficient). According to the research, Zeolite is very gentle on the body and is safe for a daily intake.

The Clay Cure doesn't recommend it for children under 12, pregnant women, or women who wish to become pregnant.

Zeolite doesn't seem to interact with any other medications. However, you should always check with a medical professional if you have any concerns about interactions with medications you are taking.

I am not aware of any side effects of this mineral.

Zeolite may also be beneficial for animals and is used in veterinary medicine.

As you can see, Zeolite is a fascinating and outstanding health supplement. By removing the blockages that compromise vitality, and strengthening the immune system, Zeolite may help the body heal itself and alleviate chronic illnesses. One does not need to suffer from such conditions to consume Zeolite. Like me, you might like to try it for prevention since a preventative consumption could be an effective shield against the afflictions caused by modern life.
